Happy Halloween
All you kids who are going trick or treating tonight, be careful and be aware of your surroundings. Don't go into anyone's house if you don't know who they are. Don't egg a house unless you feel its completely necessary, and so on. In other words, don't do anything I wouldn't do. Have your parents check your candy before eating any of it, opened wrappers should be a definite no, and no ,not even if its your favorite. If someone leaves a bowl out full of all the good candy, have some common courtesy and only take a few. Apples and baked goods do sound pretty good, but if its from strangers, its probably not a good idea, you don't know what they could have done to it, or what's in it.
To be on the safe side, or the more frightening side of Halloween, go down to Halloween Horror Nights at Knot's Scary Farm or head down to Universal for scary, deformed and bloody costumes. I warn you though, some hired monsters at Universal are allowed to touch you(no, not like sexual harassing you) but they are allowed to shake you or hold on to you, if you go in the mazes.
Happy Halloween

Violence and Abuse
Violence and abuse...some things you should never let happen to you. Many teenagers, majority being girls, are abused or hurt from their boyfriends or husbands everyday. 1 out of 10 girls will tell an adult, but sometimes its not that easy. When a girl feels she is in serious danger from her boyfriend because he hurts her, its hard for her to confront someone about it because often the boyfriend or husband is controlling and obsessive. People should be aware of these realities in this world and many girls should be able to tell their parents about it, for their safety. Girls will often tell their friends about it, but they will not go to their parents about it. With the parents in the dark, many teenage girls are in serious danger and are at risk for life. 30 percent of the woman, ages 15 to 19 are murdered every year by their boyfriends or husbands.
This could be prevented if you have the knowledge of what is going on and how to deal with it.

Senator Barack Obama wins the one vote election that allowed anyone to participate. Senator Obama wins majority of the states while McCain wins very few. One vote's Jessica Kumari, Justin Finch and Steven Fabian gave you the results in Pennysylvania. The one vote's elections said that even Senator McCains home state voted for Obama. McCain won the votes in the following seven s tates; Alaska, Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Wyoming and Utah. Obama won in all the others and won the election by far. Congratulation's Barack Obama, but remember these votes and results do not tell us anything but what the youth and minors chose.

Affirmative Action
Affirmative Action was started so that people who come from a low income family can have bigger and better opportunities, this is also judged by race and sex. Some people feel that affirmative action deprives them from the schools they want to go to and allow other people who are there because of their race or family's income. In other words, people feel affirmative action is unfair and some people see it as a fair and beneficial.
